SEO, AEO & GEO Optimization

Get your business found everywhere customers look — on Google, in voice search, and in AI tools like ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity.

Search is changing. We make sure you're found anyway.

A great website only works if people can find it. We help small and medium size businesses get discovered across the full modern search landscape — traditional Google results, the answers Google and voice assistants read aloud, and the recommendations AI tools now give. That means three connected disciplines: SEO, AEO, and GEO.

SEO — Search Engine Optimization

The foundation. We optimize your site and content to rank in Google's organic results and the local map pack: on-page SEO, technical performance, keyword-targeted content, local SEO, and Google Business Profile. Learn more in our guide to ranking in your city.

AEO — Answer Engine Optimization

As search shifts from links to answers, we structure your content so engines feature you as the direct answer — in Google's AI Overviews, featured snippets, and voice search. See what AEO is and why it matters.

GEO — Generative Engine Optimization

When customers ask ChatGPT, Gemini, or Perplexity for a recommendation, GEO works to make sure your business is mentioned and cited. It's the newest frontier of getting found — and an early-mover advantage. Read our guide to GEO.

What you get

  • On-page & technical SEO — speed, structure, and schema markup
  • Local SEO — Google Business Profile, citations, reviews
  • Answer- & AI-focused content tuned for AEO and GEO
  • Structured data so engines and AI understand your business
  • Monthly performance reporting and ongoing optimization

How local search actually works

For most local businesses the prize is the map pack — the box of three businesses with the map that sits above the regular results. It takes the majority of clicks on local searches, and it is decided by three things working together, not by your website alone.

Your Google Business Profile. A complete profile with the right categories, real photos, correct hours, and regular posts. Most businesses claim it, half-fill it, and never touch it again. That is the single most common easy win we find. Here is how to set it up properly.

Your reviews. Google reads how many you have, how recent they are, and what they say. A steady trickle of fresh reviews beats a large pile from three years ago. Most businesses simply never ask — here is a system for asking.

Your website. Consistent business name, address, and phone number everywhere they appear (called NAP consistency), local schema markup, and real pages for the services and areas you cover rather than one page that lists everything.

What we do in the first 90 days

Month one is the audit and the foundation. We crawl your site the way Google does, fix what is broken — slow pages, missing structure, thin or duplicated content — and set up Search Console so we can see real search data instead of guessing. We also claim and complete your Google Business Profile.

Month two is targeting. We work out which searches are actually worth chasing for your business, which is rarely the obvious ones. Broad terms are expensive and crowded; specific, local, buying-intent phrases convert far better. Our guide to choosing keywords walks through the logic. Then we build or rewrite the pages that target them.

Month three is compounding. Content, internal links, review generation, and AI-search structure, reported monthly so you can see what moved. SEO is not instant — meaningful movement usually starts around months three to six and builds from there. Anyone promising page one in thirty days is selling something.

Why AI search changes the math

Traditional SEO assumed ten blue links and a click. That assumption is breaking. More searches now end without anyone clicking anything, because the answer appears directly on the results page — zero-click searches. And a growing share of people skip search engines entirely, asking ChatGPT or Perplexity for a recommendation.

Those tools do not rank ten options. They give one answer, drawn from a handful of sources. Being one of those sources is a different job from ranking, and it needs different work: answering real questions directly, structuring pages so machines can parse them, and adding the schema markup that says what your business is and who it serves. That is what AEO and GEO mean in practice, and it is why our retainers cover both instead of only classic SEO.

Pricing

Optimization runs as a monthly retainer: Maintenance & Local SEO at $299/mo, and SEO, AEO & GEO at $429/mo (a $189/mo maintenance-only plan is also available). See the full retainer breakdown, or learn how to get found in AI search.

SEO & Optimization FAQs

What's the difference between SEO, AEO, and GEO?

SEO ranks you in search results, AEO makes you the featured answer, and GEO gets you cited by AI tools. They share the same foundation.

How long until I see results?

Some local wins appear in weeks; durable ranking gains typically take a few months of consistent work.

Do I need all three?

SEO is the must-have foundation. AEO and GEO are increasingly valuable as customers shift to voice and AI search.

Do you optimize sites you didn't build?

Yes. We can optimize your existing website, though a fast, well-built site makes the work more effective.
